Hokulani Cachola
Head Coach
13 Navy
Hokulani “Hoku” Cachola was born and raised in Hawaiʻi and has called Arizona home for the past eight years. Her love for volleyball and passion for helping athletes grow began during her senior year of high school, when she started her coaching journey.
Since then, Hoku has continued to develop as a coach, spending two years as an assistant coach and three years as a head coach. In addition to club coaching, she also operates her own private volleyball coaching program focused on skill development, player growth, and building confidence on and off the court.
Hoku believes coaching is about more than developing volleyball skills—it is about helping athletes become confident, hardworking, and well-rounded individuals. She is passionate about creating an environment where athletes feel supported, challenged, and motivated to reach their full potential.
Outside of volleyball, Hoku enjoys playing in a women’s volleyball league, attending women’s Bible study, crocheting, and spending quality time with her sisters. This season is especially meaningful as she has the opportunity to coach alongside her sisters, Kayla Cachola, who is also an assistant coach, and Kamalani Cachola.
Hoku is grateful for the opportunity to be part of the AZ United family and is excited for the season ahead. She looks forward to growing alongside her athletes, continuing to learn as a coach, and helping each player become the best volleyball player—and person—they can be.
